Favorite run of the season. Ran with Jon the first 9 miles and my knee didn't start aching until mile 8.Thanks for running with me Jon! and thanks for humoring me while I check out homes. :) I am starving now...if only I had a big, juicy, cheeseburger.

I can't believe how much time training for a marathon takes. Perhaps I'll stick to halfs in the future, I would do a half this year instead but I already set my mind on a full and i can't turn back now. Life has been crazy recently.

ankle sore...Curious how it'll feel monday on my long run. I've decided to swith my long runs to monday nights for a little while so I am able to see Jon (with him on his much LOVED trail runs!!!) on saturdays. :)
My desire to run the marathon is twindling a little...mostly because our future is a little up in the air at that time. I may focus on the half for now and choose a different race a few months later. Still debatable. |

| | 6.5 ran with Jon up Green canyon. The first mile was horrible. I couldn't breathe enough oxygen AND Jon stunk so bad I made him run 50 feet back....perhaps those two things are related. Love ya Jon! Though it was a perfect date...beats dinner and a movie. Which we did do the night before.... The run was fun, especially the way down. Why don't they have races that fly you up to the top (or ski lifts may be cheaper) and then only have to run down?!?! perfect. still deciding on 16 miles trail race. I know I can finish...i just don't know how long it will take. All day? | |

4 with savannah and stroller before heading to IF. I can't remember the last time i ran alone...i don't know if i'd like running alone ever again. I've decided running has saved me this year!!!! Through all the craziness and change this year, running has kept me happy.

4-wow i haven't updated for almost a month.
My running has changed dramatically the last few weeks. I went from running outside, pushing the jogging stroller, and talking to friends. Now i run on a treadmill in the apartment complex gym. Nobody is ever there. It's perfect. When the girls wake up, we pack some food and toys and they play in the corner while I run. They are only good for so long so my goal is to see how many miles I can go before they complain. I run about 7 1/2 minute miles to 9 minute miles depending on the day.
I hate the treadmill but I'm getting use to it.
I'm thinking of working on my speed and run a fast 5k soon. We'll see. | |
